Abbey and Ken so carefully selected the details of their beautiful May wedding to make sure their love and faith shone. And let me tell you—it was a megawatt sort of shine. From their first meeting at Starbucks to the congratulatory toast they shared at the exact same Starbucks after the ceremony, this couple has been about their love and faith. I met them only once. It’s just that evident.
Pinned to Abbey’s bouquet was a custom metal broach with “love” written on it in her grandmother’s handwriting. The wedding party consisted of her sister, Amy, and Ken’s best friend, Graham. Abbey walked down the aisle to the accompaniment of the church bells ringing—calling her guests to come and worship and witness God binding together two people who so clearly were made to complement each other. Dinner was an intimate affair, and the bride and groom made sure to personally chat with each guest. And the backdrop to all these things? White flowers, soft light, warm weather, and comfortable venues.

My sister, Katie, helped shoot this wedding with me. She was amazing!!
I couldn’t have done the day without her help and great skills, below are some of her photos…
Another one of Katie’s images, she’s a keeper!
While I was getting the image on the left, Katie was getting the image on the right.
Ken and Abbey had their first date at Starbucks, so we returned to the exact one at their request to remember the day!
