Hunter and I are so incredibly blessed by this beautiful baby girl. God has given us our heart’s desire with this sweet child; we praise him! Sweet Emma came into the world on October 15, 2014 at 2:11 am weighing in at 7 lbs 13.6 oz, all 19 inches of her. We are so thankful to our midwives for their awesome care of us and all our great friends (nurses)! Friends and family have showered us and our little one with so many gifts, meals, and love– we are so thankful! I am so blessed that I was able to take Emma’s newborns! It was so much pressure to capture her in this adorable stage- did I get enough photos, enough poses, will she have wanted Mommy to have gotten someone else to take them, were the props enough or do I need more?! I am happy with how they turned out though and hope she will be too one day. Her father and I love her so darn much and are so happy to be her parents…

We didn’t find out what we were having all pregnancy and were so excited to find out finally whether we were having a little boy or girl!! When Mel held her up for us, Hunter said “I think it’s a girl!!!!” We were shocked. We both guessed we were having a little boy! Such a sweet surprise!
